𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥.
𝑻𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝑳𝒂𝒍𝒂 𝑱𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒕 𝑵𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑫𝑨𝑽 𝑴𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒏 15𝒕𝒉 𝑴𝒂𝒚. 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝑴𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓’𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.
Students sang songs, recited poems, gave dance performances and performed a short play. All performances exalted Mother as God, a Teacher, a Friend , a Philosopher and a guide and, emphasised the truth that a mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world.
Chief Guest Mr. Jagjeet Singh *(Dy. Director Factories)* praised the performances given by studentsof Secondary Block, especially the Short Play.
Principal, Mrs. Anita Nanda, congratulated the mothers and appreciated the endeavours made by the students to express their affection and reverence for their mothers. All the Mothers and Participant’s were given awards like cards, trophies and certificates.
