jalandhar(22/11/2023): Recently a painting competition at State Level on Energy Conservation was organised by BBMB(Bhakhra Beas Management Board), Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of power and Government of India at Indradhanush Auditorium, Panchkula. In this competition, the students from approximately all the schools of Punjab,Chandigarh and Haryana participated. 50 students each of junior and senior groups were selected from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh amongst 14 lakh students. In this painting competition, 150 selected students of senior and junior groups each(total 300 students) took part. In the Senior Group of this competition, *Taruna of Class-VIII from Lala Jagat Narain DAV Model School, Kabir Nagar, Jalandhar won an amount of Rs.50000 by winning First Position* and brought laurels to the school. Simar of Class-VI from the school won an amount of Rs.10000 by winning a Consolation prize.
