15/04/2024: Israel govt. said Israel is currently engaged in an aerial, naval, and ground military operation against Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip, following their horrific attack against Israel and its citizens on October 7, 2023. These terror organizations continue to attack Israel, including by indiscriminately firing rockets to Israeli towns, and still holding over 130 hostages in captivity.
At the same time, Israel continuously monitors the humanitarian situation of the civilian population in the Gaza strip, undertakes substantial efforts to facilitate access to humanitarian aid, and is working closely with States and international stakeholders to advance this objective.
according to Israel As of today, humanitarian aid is being delivered to the Gaza Strip in three main routes –
I. Land Route – Humanitarian aid arrives in trucks from the Egyptian Rafah crossing and from the Kerem Shalom crossing from Israel. Additionally, a specific entry point was opened for direct delivery of humanitarian aid from Israel to the northern Gaza Strip. Additional relevant methods are constantly being examined.
II. Aerial Route – parachuting operations for humanitarian aid packages are coordinated with Israel and involve collaboration with many countries, including the US, Jordan, France, the Netherlands, Egypt, Belgium, and the UAE.
III. Maritime Route – efforts in cooperation with the US, Cyprus, and the UAE are underway to establish a maritime corridor for direct aid delivery to the Gaza Strip following security inspections. The first shipments have already arrived by sea.
Those initiatives are conducted without prejudice to the Naval Blockade imposed on the maritime area adjacent to the Gaza Strip, which remains in effect and is enforced in accordance with international law.
A security inspection must be conducted in the process of facilitating humanitarian aid. This measure is necessary for security reasons, as the terrorist organization Hamas attempts to exploit the Gaza Strip crossings for military reinforcement purposes.
Therefore, all efforts to transfer supplies to the Gaza Strip must adhere to security inspections through the established and recognized procedures.

Deliveries that do not adhere to the established procedures and are not coordinated with Israel cannot be adequately facilitated and are not allowed.
