International(6/08/2024): As you aware, as of October 7th, the State of Israel is in a complex security situation. As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure your safety and well-being, PIBA is reaching out to provide important information regarding self-defense measures in accordance with the directives of the Home Front Command, following another security change, and we would like to convey important defense instructions. . In light of current circumstances, it is imperative that all residents, including foreign workers, are informed and prepared. Home Front Command: 1. Choosing a Protected Space- A residential protected room (MAMAD), communal protected space (MAMAK), shelter, stairwell or an inner room – choose the protected space according to the time available to reach shelter, available protection, and your ability to reach it in time. 2. Preparing for emergencies with all the required equipment- During an emergency, we may be asked to stay secluded for a certain amount of time, or in some cases, evacuate from the house. Therefore, it is important to prepare the necessary equipment ahead of time, which will help to deal with the emergency situation (Water and food for the entire household members for at least 3 days, Important documents, Emergency lighting, Flashlight and batteries, First aid kit, Medicine and printed prescriptions, Radio and batteries, Portal charges for the mobile device). 3. Emergency Communication Methods- Draw up a list with the telephone numbers of emergency organizations, relatives, and neighbors.
