Jalandhar(19/04/2025): On the auspicious occasion of the 161st Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Hansraj Ji, Lala Jagat Narain DAV Model School came alive with devotion, learning, and inspiration. The celebration, conducted in the school campus, paid heartfelt tribute to the visionary and selfless educationist who laid the foundation of the DAV movement.

The Vedic Club, under the dynamic leadership of 3rd Officer Mr. Rahul, organised two meaningful activities with support Respected secondary Block coordinator Mrs Suman Sharma.

Students from classes 6 to 10 participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talents, creativity, and reverence towards Mahatma Hansraj Ji. The central objective of these events was to inspire students to imbibe the values of truth, simplicity, service, and sacrifice as taught by Mahatma Hansraj Ji.

The program began with a Hawan-Yagya ceremony, invoking divine blessings and spiritual purity. This sacred ritual set a serene tone for the day.

The school Principal, Mrs. Anita Nanda, addressed the gathering, sharing inspirational insights into the life and contributions of Mahatma Hansraj Ji, emphasizing his commitment to value-based education and nation-building.

After the competitions, winners were honored with medals and certificates by the Principal during the prize distribution ceremony.
